EVENT OVERVIEW

What you need to know

Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology 2026 runs from 27 to 29 October at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Enterprise Singapore's flagship innovation gathering combines a main conference, themed deep-tech sessions, an international exhibition floor and the tenth SLINGSHOT startup competition. The organizer says more than 400 startups and exhibitors and over 30 global pavilions are expected.

The 2026 program is unusually broad but structured for practical navigation. SWITCH Beyond offers focused tracks in healthcare and biomedical technology, embodied AI and robotics, semiconductors, quantum computing and climate tech. SWITCH Global concentrates on international expansion, while SWITCH Converge covers founder, talent and ecosystem-building questions. Attendees should select a small number of sector tracks and arrange meetings before arrival rather than trying to cover every stage.

WHY IT MATTERS

SWITCH is a major bridge between Southeast Asia's technology ecosystem and international capital, research and corporate buyers. Its 2026 program places embodied AI, robotics, quantum, semiconductors, health technology and climate tech beside the SLINGSHOT startup finals, making it a useful test of which laboratory advances are attracting commercial partners.
