EVENT OVERVIEW

What you need to know

SEMICON West 2027 is scheduled for 30 March–1 April at the Phoenix Convention Center. SEMI has shifted its flagship North American exhibition and conference to an annual spring schedule and made Phoenix its long-term home, replacing the previous rotation with San Francisco.

The programme spans the semiconductor value chain, from materials, wafer fabrication and equipment to advanced packaging, design, sustainability and workforce development. The location matters: Arizona has become a major focus of new fab investment, so discussions about manufacturing capacity can be tested against projects, suppliers and skills programmes operating in the region.

KEY THEMES

What to expect

  • Fab equipment, materials and process technology
  • Advanced packaging, chiplets and heterogeneous integration
  • Manufacturing resilience, sustainability and resource efficiency
  • Semiconductor workforce and regional supply-chain development
WHO IT IS FOR

Who should attend

  • Chipmakers and semiconductor manufacturing teams
  • Equipment, materials and advanced-packaging suppliers
  • Researchers, investors and industrial-policy leaders
  • Engineering students and workforce-development organisations
WHY IT MATTERS

SEMICON West sits where semiconductor road maps meet the practical constraints of fabs, advanced packaging, workforce capacity, water, energy and supply-chain resilience. The move to Phoenix also puts the conference inside one of North America's fastest-growing chip-manufacturing clusters.
