The 2026 Open Compute Project Global Summit takes place from 12–15 October at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. OCP describes the meeting as a working forum for open infrastructure, combining keynotes, technical tracks, engineering workshops and community collaboration.
This year's programme spans 22 technical tracks and places AI-era infrastructure at the centre: compute, silicon, networking, storage, security, power, cooling, sustainability and data-centre design. The organiser has announced that the summit has reached maximum capacity, registration is closed and no onsite registration will be offered.
What to expect
- Open AI compute and rack-scale systems
- Networking, storage and hardware security
- Power delivery, liquid cooling and energy efficiency
- Data-centre design, sustainability and interoperability
Who should attend
- Data-centre and cloud infrastructure engineers
- Chip, networking and systems architects
- Hyperscale operators and enterprise infrastructure leaders
- Energy, cooling and sustainability specialists
AI deployment is increasingly constrained by power delivery, cooling, networking and supply-chain interoperability. OCP is where hyperscalers, chipmakers, operators and component suppliers convert those constraints into shared specifications and deployable infrastructure designs.
