EVENT OVERVIEW

What you need to know

MWC Barcelona 2027 is scheduled for 1–4 March at Fira Gran Via. The GSMA says the event will convene more than 100,000 decision-makers from the connectivity ecosystem and adjacent sectors, while the venue's own calendar independently confirms the dates and location.

The organiser has published six editorial themes: Networks Reinvented, AI in Action, Autonomous Enterprise, AI of Tomorrow, Trust at Scale and The Next Era. These tracks expand the event beyond mobile devices to edge computing, satellite links, sovereign cloud, agentic systems, digital identity, security, quantum AI and new industrial applications.

WHY IT MATTERS

MWC is a rare point where telecom infrastructure, device makers, cloud providers, governments and adjacent industries negotiate both technology roadmaps and commercial deployment. The 2027 agenda will indicate how quickly AI-native networks, satellite integration and early 6G work are moving from trials into investable systems.
