The International Trademark Association's 2026 Leadership Meeting is scheduled for 17–20 November at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. INTA describes it as an invitation-only gathering of more than 1,500 volunteer leaders, committee members, board alumni, industry-group participants and government IP-office representatives. Standard registration is listed through 16 November, followed by onsite pricing during the event.
The programme is designed for experienced practitioners rather than a general audience. Published sessions span practical AI prompting, AI clauses and professional judgment, trademark and brand strategy, patents, trade secrets, commercialization, anti-counterfeiting and law-firm management. Committee work is also central: INTA says ideas developed in these meetings feed later policy initiatives, professional education and leadership activity across the global trademark community.
What to expect
- AI workflows, contracting and professional judgment in IP practice
- Global trademark strategy, enforcement and anti-counterfeiting
- Patents, trade secrets, licensing and IP commercialization
- Leadership, legal-service innovation and committee policy work
Who should attend
- Eligible INTA committee and board participants
- Senior in-house intellectual-property counsel
- Trademark, patent and licensing practitioners
- Government IP-office and brand-protection leaders
The meeting is where INTA's committees and senior volunteers turn global IP problems into policy work, educational programmes and practical guidance. The 2026 agenda is particularly relevant to innovation leaders because it connects AI adoption, brand protection, patents, trade secrets and commercialization with operational decisions inside companies and law firms.
