EVENT OVERVIEW

What you need to know

HANNOVER MESSE 2027 takes place from 5–8 April at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. Deutsche Messe has shortened the event to four days, concentrating the exhibition, technical programme and international business meetings into a Monday-to-Thursday format.

The event connects production engineering with software, energy and infrastructure. Visitors should expect industrial AI, robotics, automation, digital twins, electrification and connected manufacturing to be judged less as isolated technologies and more as systems that must improve reliability, throughput and energy efficiency at scale.

KEY THEMES

What to expect

  • Industrial AI, digital twins and software-defined production
  • Robotics, automation and autonomous factory systems
  • Electrification, energy efficiency and resilient infrastructure
  • Manufacturing supply chains, standards and interoperability
WHO IT IS FOR

Who should attend

  • Manufacturing and industrial-operations leaders
  • Automation, robotics and engineering teams
  • Energy and infrastructure technology providers
  • Startups, investors and public-sector industrial strategists
WHY IT MATTERS

HANNOVER MESSE is where industrial AI is tested against factory economics, safety, energy use and interoperability. Its 2027 format offers a concentrated view of which automation, robotics and electrification systems are moving from demonstration to deployable infrastructure.
