EVENT OVERVIEW

What you need to know

AAAI-27 is scheduled for 16–23 February 2027 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Registration is open for the in-person technical programme and for a lower-cost virtual option that provides viewing access but does not permit remote paper presentation.

The programme is designed around peer-reviewed technical papers, posters, invited talks, demonstrations, workshops, tutorials and competitions. It also includes the Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence conference and the Educational Advances in Artificial Intelligence symposium, creating a bridge from methods to deployed systems and teaching practice.

WHY IT MATTERS

AAAI remains a major checkpoint for peer-reviewed AI research outside the product-launch cycle. Its combination of foundational work, deployment-focused IAAI sessions, education research and alignment and social-impact tracks offers an unusually broad view of where the field's evidence is strengthening—and where claims still need scrutiny.
